Preciforge & Gears is a Group Company of the Patodia’s. The directors established an Automobile Bulb Manufacturing in 1961, unit by the name of "Patodia Glass Industries Ltd (PGIL)" which today produces 30 Million Auto Bulbs annually for all 2 & 4 wheeler Automobiles.
In the year 1988 the Company started manufacturing Head Light & Tail Light Assemblies and started supplies to major 2 wheeler OEMs. PGIL has 200 skilled employees in a built up area of 40,000 sq.ft, supplies to 22 OEMs across the country and 1200 strong dealer network for after sales market.
• 1961 started manufacturing auto bulbs for the OEM‘s and after markets. Currently manufacture 130,000 bulbs a day.
• 1996 expanded to manufacture transmission gears and auto components.
• 2004 vertically backward integrated and set up the state-of-the-art forging facility to manufacture hot, warm and cold forgings.
• 2007 DOL Supply of fully finished gear shaft sub-assemblies to OEM’s with “ZERO” PPM.
Project has been set up in 2004 to manufacture HOT, WARM & COLD forgings and machined products.
The unit is capable of producing 1 Million forgings per month and it has in-house facilities of die making, forging, normalizing, turning, gear cutting and heat treatment (CGCF 8000 Kgs per day).
The unit is situated on a land of 110000 sq.ft. With a built up area of 45000 sq.ft.
